About Deoné

Deoné Newell, a Diné/Naahiłií (Navajo/Black) Sound Healer, Reiki Master, Grief Doula, Life Coach, and Yoga Teacher, trained in Rishikesh, India. She is also currently an Artist in Residence at Kripalu, Center for Yoga and Health.​ 

 

Based on the Navajo Nation, Deoné has led Sound Healing, Yoga, and Breathwork for organizations like Yahoo, DoorDash, the Navajo Nation Division of Economic Development, and the Nez Perce Reservation. She has also consulted for SAMHSA, educating youth on Native arts and culture as mental health protective factors. She has also been trained in grief work under esteemed gina Breedlove.

Blending meditation, IFS, and leadership principles, Deoné guides executive teams in nonprofits and organizations through transformative relational workshops. Her workshops fosters authentic connection, trust, and cohesion, using Indigenous wisdom, sound healing, and mindfulness. Through these sessions, teams strengthen relational intelligence, align with shared values, and build resilient connections for greater collective impact.
